THE NEXT BLOG WILL BE WRITTEN WEDNESDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 3rd!!!

Hi Everybody,

I wrote a note on Wednesday, January 27 about this week's blog being delayed because of a very difficult film audition. This is an updated note that was written Friday morning, January 29. That difficult (but very interesting) audition that required more study and preparation than usual and some other unexpected things have caused me to not be able write the next blog until Wednesday, February 3rd.

I know that some of the blog subjects will be President Obama's State of the Union Address.

President Obama's face to face challenge at a Republican gathering where he told Republican House people (in essence) that he's perplexed, tired, disappointed and plain pissed off about this Republican "Party of NO" voting against everything he suggests without offering any kind of counter proposals.

Annnnnd....An email I received from Cairo, Egypt that challenges my comments about Muslims.

On the entertainment side of things, my thoughts about a 1997 Mel Gibson-Julia Roberts film I saw for the first time and my thoughts about Mel Gibson's new film, "Edge of Darkness".
